Rule# 1 Bring Half the Clothes and Twice the Money!

ABOUT THE HOUSE 

Telephone:  Local calls are free.  Toll Block on long distance.  Get a HELLO Card from Bahamas Tel- at the top of the hill going into town, or use ATT, MCI long distance calling cards.  Do not use cell phones, you'll see HUGE costs.

Water:  Rain water is stored under the house.  Please conserve water in kitchen, bathrooms and showers.  Don't let water run.

House:  We have a TV with lots of videos, but no satelite TV.  Bring your favorite DVDs'.  There are  books, puzzles and games and a stereo that is iPod ready.  Bring your favorite CD's. 

WHAT TO BRING

Green Turtle is casual and comfortable.  Pack light on clothes and bring along a few of your favorite things and enjoy Bita Bay House.  The House is well stocked wtih Beach Towels, Bath Towels, Linens, hair drier, first aid kit.  The Kitchen is well equipped.  

BRING Sunscreen, hats and casual clothes.  Bring SNORKLE Equipment, Light fishing tackle if you want to fish off the beach.  REEF / Boat Shoes.

FOOD:  Bahamian laws allow you to bring in ample food with the exception of CITRUS and Fresh Vegetables.  Feel free to bring a cooler of poultry, beef, cold cuts, cheeses, snacks etc.  There are several food stores in town to buy staples and fresh vegetables.  There is a seafood store in town (B&M Seafood). Don't bring liquor or beer- prices are reasonable, well beer is $50 case but at least it is KALIK.

Please remember that Beach Chairs and Boogy Boards need to be brought above the high tide line- every day.
